FOSTERBURG — A suspect was taken into custody just after noon Thursday, April 2, 2026, after barricading inside a home in the 5000 block of Fosterburg Road, Madison County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Marcos Pulido confirmed.

Pulido confirmed the apprehension shortly after noon on Thursday, April 2, 2026. He said the roadway near the scene “will be opened shortly" when he commented.

Pulido said the subject was involved in a domestic-related incident and made threats.

Metro East SWAT assisted the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in the situation.

"We appreciate everyone’s cooperation with staying out of the area," the sheriff's office said.
