JERSEYVILLE — Jersey Community Unit School District No. 100 recognized its 2026 Illinois State Scholars during a February Board of Education meeting, praising the students for “their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence.”

“These outstanding students were recognized at the February Board of Education meeting for their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence,” the district said in a statement.

“The Board of Education and the Jersey 100 Family are very proud of you — keep reaching for the stars!" the board said.

The Jersey School District congratulated the following students: Abigail Behl, Ethan Benner, Matthew Bishop, Madalyn Bodenbach, Cali Breden, Abigail Chin, Kimberlee Ford, Shayla Friedel, Chloe Hartman, Chase Howell, Bryce Hutchens, Jeremiah Kanallakan, Shane Lamer, Ava Little, Emma Lyons, Brady Maxeiner, Mallory Plunk, Mylie Ramirez, Paul Slusser, Raeanna Speidel, Abigail Wedig, Matthew Weitzel, and Taylor Woodring.
