EDWARDSVILLE - The Edwardsville Rotary Club has chosen to honor Edwardsville High School student Robert Edington with the Student of the Month Award for February. Edwardsville High School teacher Melissa Sanders nominated Robert.

Robert is the nephew of Gretchen and Tieg Selberg and is seventeen years old. Robert is a member of the Edwardsville Wrestling Team. He has been honored as Wrestler of the Week several times.

Outside of school, Robert enjoys going to the gym, rollerblading, and wrestling. He hopes to have a career as an electrician and own a successful business.

The Edwardsville Rotary Club recognizes a student each month, September through April. Each May, Edwardsville High School staff chooses one of the monthly winners to receive the $2,000 Edwardsville EHS Rotary Scholarship. The awards have been given since 1996 and the Edwardsville Rotary Club has given out over $35,000 in scholarships to date.

Edwardsville Rotary Student of the Month for February 2026. The Edwardsville Rotary awarded Robert Edington from Edwardsville High School with Student of the Month.
