

EDWARDSVILLE - Edwardsville High School’s boys swimming and diving team surged to a commanding lead Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, winning multiple events and piling up points at the Southern Illinois Swim Boys Championships at Edwardsville.
Edwardsville led the team standings with 277 points through Event 12 on Feb. 12, 2026, at Edwardsville. Collinsville was second with 83, followed by Granite City with 49 and Metro East Lutheran with 19.

Edwardsville opened the meet by winning the 200-yard medley relay in 1:46.15 with Mason Voss, Daniel Wang, Bryce Seymour and Jackson Suhre.
Individually, Edwardsville’s Braxton Tite won the 200 freestyle in 2:03.30, while Voss took the 200 individual medley in 2:00.35 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.94. Collinsville’s Luke Berger won the 50 freestyle in 22.79, and Edwardsville’s Suhre won the 100 freestyle in 49.42, edging Berger (50.00).
In diving, Edwardsville’s Derek Ruehl posted a winning score of 285.40 on the 1-meter board. Seymour won the 100 butterfly in 1:04.73, and Wang captured the 500 freestyle in 5:30.41.
Edwardsville also won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:39.66 and the 400 freestyle relay in 4:04.76. Collinsville’s Bram Malsbury won the 100 backstroke in 1:01.32.
