From 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 26, 2026, Rustic Roots in Wood River will host the roadshow. Attendees are encouraged to talk to companies and manufacturers about their security systems, including video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection, AI-powered analytics, and threat detection technologies. Brad and Mark with American Digital Security (ADS) noted that this show is designed for people who need to protect properties, businesses, people or homes.
“The technology, a lot of it is just mind-blowing. It improves every day. There's something new every day,” Mark said. “There’s a lot of stuff available that can help every business, small, medium, large.”
Mark and Brad noted that many smaller or medium-sized businesses are “overlooked by a lot of the integrators in the industry.” Their goal with the ADS roadshow is to demonstrate to these businesses what is possible.
They noted that CCTV and burglar alarms are great, but somewhat outdated when you can have thermal radar imaging or autonomous drone surveillance. Whether you’re trying to secure a small business, a school district, a hospital, a storage facility, a warehouse, or something else, the vendors at the roadshow can demonstrate everything they offer and help you choose what’s right for you.
“Nobody’s problems are the same,” Brad explained. “Everybody has a different issue that they’re trying to fix, whether it’s employee theft, whether it’s security, whether it’s safety for staff and students at school or just property protection, the storage lots, things like that that have boats, campers. We can protect all of that. Everybody's got a different story and a different issue they’re trying to fix.”
Brad and Mark added that some technology can count how many people have entered and exited a building, which is great for retail stores. Heat maps can even help managers understand which aisles or end-caps are getting the most attention.
Other tech can scan bodies and alert if it detects a concealed weapon. Brad and Mark noted that this technology is used at St. Louis Blues and Cardinals games, but can be equally helpful at bars or schools.
“The main thing is changing the age-old security of being reactive,” Brad said. “Someone breaks in, we pull the security footage. But now we’re going to be proactive with all the analytics. It takes the legwork out of having to do the research yourself. Let the systems do it for you.”
Brad and Mark added that the companies can “get creative to fit anybody’s needs” and there is “a budget for everybody.” The roadshow itself aims to be a no-pressure opportunity to see what all is available. In addition to talking to vendors, attendees can watch presentations and demonstrations throughout the day.
There will be a lunch and happy hour. Attendees can also enter for the chance to win St. Louis Blues tickets. For a full schedule of events, or to RSVP, click here.
Brad and Mark believe it’s an “exciting time” for security technology, and they hope the ADS roadshow can help people protect what’s most important to them. For more information about the ADS roadshow on Feb. 26, 2026, click here.
