Yates finished the game with 1,587 career points, breaking the previous school record held by Dan Bishop since 1999.

The win was Bunker Hill’s 20th of the season to go with only six losses.

Tim Marston is the head coach of the Minutemen and has completely turned around the program.

Under Marston's guidance and the help of other coaches, the Minutemen have been one of the top boys basketball teams in the region this winter.

The Minutemen are scheduled to play on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, on the road at Nokomis. They are set to close the regular season Monday by hosting Carrollton before beginning regional action.
