State Rep. Davidsmeyer.SPRINGFIELD - State Senator Jil Tracy, along with State Representatives C.D. Davidsmeyer and Kyle Moore, are inviting community members to help spread Valentine’s Day cheer by participating in their annual Valentines for Seniors Card Drive, now underway through February 2, 2026.

The initiative encourages individuals, families, classrooms, and community groups to create homemade Valentine’s Day cards for seniors living in nursing homes, assisted-living facilities, and long-term care centers throughout the district.

“Valentine’s Day is a time to show care and appreciation, and this card drive gives our community a meaningful way to reach out to seniors who may feel isolated,” said Rep. Davidsmeyer. “A simple, handwritten message can brighten someone’s day and remind them that they are not forgotten.”

“Our seniors have given so much to our communities, and this is a small way we can give back,” said Rep. Moore. “I encourage families, schools, and organizations to take part and help us spread kindness and compassion this Valentine’s Day.”
