Abbati, who excels academically despite facing the challenges of studying unfamiliar subjects, is also actively involved in athletics.

Abbati plays on the National Flag Football team in Italy and is currently a member of the Highland High School track team. She is preparing for both indoor and outdoor seasons for the Highland girls' track and field squad.
