CAHOKIA - Jersey’s girls basketball team delivered a commanding 74-15 victory over Cahokia on Wednesday night, Jan. 21, 2026, at Cahokia’s gym.
The Panthers took control early, leading 22-7 after the first quarter and extending their advantage to 38-10 by halftime. Jersey maintained its dominance throughout the game, holding a 58-12 lead going into the final quarter.

Meredith Gray led Jersey with 14 points, while teammates Neely Goetten and Chloe Beemer contributed 11 points each. Courtney Breden and Nola Griffith each added nine points to the Panthers’ total.
Cahokia was led by Mi’Thalia Carraway and La’Niah Riley, who scored five points apiece. Amyah Winters added three points for the Comanches.
With the win, Jersey improved to 13-9 on the season.
Cahokia fell to 2-20.
The Panthers are scheduled to host Jacksonville on Thursday night, Jan. 22, and will compete in the Carrollton Girls Invitational Tournament at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24.
