
ALTON — Civic Memorial High School senior Jude Breyer finished in fourth place individually at the IHSA Regional Bowling Tournament at Alton, contributing to the Eagles’ team victory and advancing them to the sectional competition.

Breyer, a senior, 1286
Hunter Kremke, a senior, 1235
Kale McMichael, a senior, 1204
Jayden Minner, a junior, 1010
Grant Shirley, a senior, 546
Logal Roberson, a junior, 384
Keigan Gallup, a junior, 369
The tournament took place recently in Alton, where the Civic Memorial boys bowling team captured the regional championship with a combined score of 6,034, narrowly edging out the host team, Alton, which finished with 6,018.
Breyer’s consistent and focused performance was instrumental in the Eagles’ success, demonstrating leadership in a highly competitive field.
Breyer’s accomplishments extend beyond bowling. He is also a member of Civic Memorial’s tennis team and plans to continue his bowling career at Illinois State University this fall as part of the competitive bowling club team.
Following their regional success, the Eagles will next compete at the IHSA Sectional Bowling Tournament as they seek to advance further in postseason play.
