RED BUD - Marquette Catholic senior Allie Weiner reached a significant milestone Wednesday night, joining the 1,000-point club during the Explorers’ victory over Christ Our Rock.
Weiner scored eight points in the game to surpass the 1,000-point mark, becoming one of the select players in Marquette Catholic history to achieve this feat. Her accomplishment will be formally recognized on Thursday before the home game against Granite City.

She joins a distinguished group of Explorers who have reached 1,000 career points, including Meagan Hanlon (1993), Amie Gernigin (1994), Kendra Snyder (2000), Michelle Beiermann (2000), Andrea Tappan (2001), and Adrenna Snipes (2020).
The school community extends congratulations to Allie Weiner, her parents Scott and Jennifer Weiner, and Head Coach Whitney Sykes-Rogers on this accomplishment.
