ROXANA — The Staunton Bulldogs secured their second victory over the Roxana Shells this season with a 55-39 win Tuesday night at Roxana.

Roxana started strong, led by Sean Maberry’s 10 first-quarter points, building a 16-7 lead after the opening quarter. Staunton responded in the second quarter, narrowing the gap to trail by just one point, 23-22, at halftime.

The Bulldogs took control in the third quarter, holding Roxana to four points while scoring 18 themselves to take a 40-27 lead going into the final quarter. Staunton maintained their advantage in the fourth quarter, outscoring Roxana 15-12.

Staunton’s offense was led by Isiah Laux, who scored 22 points, with Bryce Coalson and Jeremiah Graham each contributing 12 points.

Roxana’s top performers included Maberry with 23 points and Cohen Dugan with eight points.
