An event at the Madison County Archival Library on Sunday, Dec 4, will encourage residents to “Give the Gift of History” this Christmas. Authors of books about Madison County will be on hand to sign books or talk about their work from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Archival Library located at 801 N. Main Street in Edwardsville. Also available are gift certificates for memberships in the Madison County Historical Society. The Society offers six of their award-winner newsletters annually that tell stories of Madison County’s history, the perfect gift for someone who has everything. For information, call 618-656-7569
