State Representative C.D. Davidsmeyer (R-Jacksonville) is pleased to announce that he has partnered with the Jersey Community Hospital to provide free diabetes screenings for area residents. The screenings, along with a diabetes education program, will be held on Thursday July 25 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the hospital, Diabetes Education Center, located at 400 Maple Summit Road in Jerseyville.
The event will also include free diabetes education provided by JCH's certified diabetes educators.
Attendees are encouraged to fast for two hours before receiving a screening. No appointments are necessary, but anyone with questions should contact Rep. Davidsmeyer at (217) 243-6221 or the JCH Diabetes Education Center at (618) 498-8467.
