The egg drop contest will include building a cover out of materials, provided by the Tower for a large Grade A egg as it is dropped from the Tower levels. The goal is to have the best protection for the egg so that when it hits the ground, it doesn’t break. Participants will have a total of one hour to create their egg covering using only the materials given to them at the contest. At 2 p.m., the eggs will be dropped from the Tower starting at the 50 foot level and progressing to the top until a winner is determined. The designer of the winning egg compartment will receive a free color changing water bottle. Admission is $4, the price of a regular tour ticket. All ages are welcome to participate with a team or by themselves.
