We are excited to announce after a year of discussion and ideas that the St. Louis Tour de Cure will be moving it's start/finish location in 2013 to the Alton Riverfront Amphitheater in Alton, IL! Raging Rivers Water Park has been a fantastic host for the past 21 years and plans to still be involved and offer FREE admission to the water park on June 1, 2013 to all volunteers and riders! The new location offers more parking,a beautiful riverfront view, more lodging options and a wide variety of route choices on the rural Illinois roads. New routes will be established as soon as possible and shared with all riders. We look forward to a brand new St. Louis Tour de Cure in 2013! Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
The Tour is a ride, not a race. Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you.
Registration Fee $25.
Each rider must raise a minimum of $200 to ride.
Riders 12 and under must raise a minimum of $100 to ride.
*there will be a 10 minute opening ceremony at each Start Time. Please note any riders leaving before the scheduled start time will be riding at their own risk. Support on the routes does not begin until the Start Time.
