The Tower welcomes The Harmans Family Bluegrass Band, sponsored by SMS Engineering, on Saturday, June 29. The band consists of father Mike, and three sons.
Mike was a Rounder recording artist and a member of Alison Krauss and Union Station from 1986 to 1990. During this time, Mike performed on the Grand Ole Opry and recorded on the Grammy nominated Two Highways album and on the platinum seller, "Now That I've Found You- A Collections by Alison Krauss".
The Harman Family Bluegrass Band today consists of first and second generation musicians having deep roots dating back to 1975.The Harman’s music style ranges from traditional to contemporary bluegrass, country, gospel and other various types of music. “Entertaining you is our goal and is as much fun for us as the music we play.”

Opening for the Harman Bluegrass Band is DD Revival. DD Revival is a 4-piece musical group that features songs of the mid-to-late 50's, 60's and early 70's. DD Revival played for the Tower's grand opening and they're back by popular demand.

DD Revival will begin at 6 p.m. and The Harmans Bluegrass Band will start at 7 p.m. in the Tower's plaza. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. where tickets can be purchased. Tickets for the event are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for children 12 and under.
Ticket prices include a tour up the Tower and can be purchased now in advance at the Tower's visitor's center or over the phone by calling (618) 251-9101.
