Participants will learn the basic tools and techniques of paper craft for binding books, and will learn simple, yet versatile book bindings. Experienced bookbinder, Michelle Berg Vogel, will take students through the basic steps of beginning bookbinding. Everyone will take home at least two handmade notebooks. All supplies provided: $20 per person. Age: High school to adult. Students should take this class before attempting the advanced bookbinding class, scheduled for later this spring.
