The Real Influence (Grades 6-12)

Social media affects all of us whether we realize it or not. Some social media can have a positive impact on our social and mental well-being, while other aspects of social media can have lasting and devastating  effects. In this live learning experience, Lauren from A.R.C. Angels will discuss harmful aspects of social media such as addiction, negative health effects, cyberbullying, and being mindful of what we post. This program also encourages young people to think outside of the box as we discuss realistic scenarios and how to handle crises.
