5th Annual 24-Hour Laps for Leaps

Leaps of Love, a nonprofit organization supporting families affected by childhood cancer, proudly announces the 5th Annual 24-Hour Laps for Leaps, a one-of-a-kind endurance racing event at Highland Speedway, 7 p.m. Friday, September 25, through 7 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2026.

This year’s event carries special significance as it coincides with America’s 250th Anniversary, blending patriotic celebration with a powerful mission: honoring and supporting children and families facing cancer.

A Nonstop 24-Hour Racing Challenge

Drivers from across the region will take on “The Toughest Day on Dirt,” racing continuously for 24 hours in a test of stamina, teamwork, and heart. Spectators can enjoy:

• Food trucks
• Kids Zone activities
• Driver challenge hours

Grandstand admission: $10
Kids 12 & under: Free
Pit Passes: $20
Admissions valid for all 24 hours

Racing for a Purpose

All proceeds support Leaps of Love, which provides retreats, support programs, and emotional healing opportunities for families who face childhood cancer. The organization’s founder, Traci, emphasizes the heart behind the event:

“This event is about endurance — not just on the track, but in the lives of the families we serve. Childhood cancer changes everything, and Laps for Leaps is our way of showing these families that their community stands with them.”
