The Great Haunted Alton Halloween Festival

Get ready to have a spooky good time at The Great Haunted Alton Halloween Festival on Saturday, Oct. 24, from noon–6 p.m. at the intersection of Third and State streets in Historic Downtown Alton!

This historically haunted area of town will transform into a full-scale Halloween bash, free and open to all! The streets will close to traffic for the afternoon.

Event Details:

• Howl-a-Ween Pet Parade: Starting at noon, costumed pets and their humans take over the streets in true Alton fashion
• Live Music: The headlining act, The Steve Ewing Band, will echo sweet tunes down the brick streets, and Psychedelic Symphony will provide the background tunes while you shop over 30+ curated vendors
• Costume Contest: Show off your spookiest, silliest, or most creative costume for a chance to win cash prizes! Contestants will be judged by celebrity judges, including Hollywood FX artist and film producer Jeff Lewis and K-SHE 95’s Kshemikki
• Costume Contest Registration: Stop by Mooneyham Art to register. Registration is open until 5 p.m.
• Costume Contest Awards: Stick around until the end of the festival to see who is crowned the winners, to celebrate the perfect finale to a hauntingly fun day
