Our Vote, Our Voice: A Candidate Community Forum

As the 2026 General Election approaches, “Our Vote, Our Voice: A Candidate Community Forum,” gives Metro-East residents the chance to question candidates for Illinois House of Representatives District 114 ahead of the Illinois General Election. The forum gives residents a direct, nonpartisan opportunity to hear candidates' positions on issues affecting the Metro-East. Topics include clean air, water quality, public safety, data center development, and state budget priorities for local schools, and to hold candidates accountable through live, community-driven questions. The 90-minute program will include questions developed by the partner organizations as well as 15 minutes of live audience Q&A.
