Alton Symphony Orchestra 'Variations on Americana'

Join Alton Symphony Orchestra for their concert 'Variations on Americana' February 28 at 3 p.m. The concert will take place inside Hatheway Hall at Lewis & Clark Community College campus in Godfrey. 'Variations on Americana' pieces include "Variations on America", "Lincoln Portrait", "West Side Story", and "Variations on a Shaker Melody".

The show features Marie Stillwell Concerto Competition winner, pianist Tyler He, performing "Warsaw Concerto" from the film "Dangerous Moonlight". Senior members of the Alton Youth Symphony will also be performing on two pieces. 

Tickets are $10 per adult - $5 per child and can be purchased in advance or at the door.
