STREAM Series: Forest Park Owls – Hiding in Plain Sight    Tuesday, October 15 | 5–7 p.m. | Free & Open to the Public   Location: 1, Confluence Way, East Alton, IL 62024   Don’t miss the final STREAM (Science, Technology, Research, Education, Art, and Mathematics) event of the year at the National Great Rivers Research and Education Center (NGRREC) in East Alton, IL. This is your chance to explore our amazing field station and enjoy a “hoot” of an evening with naturalist Mark H.X. Glenshaw, who will share stories from nearly two decades of observing Forest Park’s elusive great horned owls.   Evening highlights: • Owl-mazing presentation full of nocturnal knowledge • Seasonal craft in the lobby • Twilight rooftop tour with “owl-some” Mississippi River views • Bring a flashlight and your Halloween costume!   Part of NGRREC’s STREAM series, this family-friendly event combines science, creativity, and discovery for all ages.
