About this event
The ALTON GOLF HALL OF FAME invites you to the playing of the 72nd Annual Alton Gold Medal Golf Championship taking place this year at the historic Cloverleaf Golf Course. Established in 1931, Cloverleaf is the oldest family owned and operated golf course in the United States of America. The Alton Gold Medal is a 36-Hole Medal Play event held over two days.
The first day, Saturday, Aug. 16, is a 8am shotgun start with preferred pairings (pick your foursome). The second round takes place on Sunday, Aug. 17, starting with tee times at 8am with the Senior division starting first with the open division set to follow based on your score from the previous day. The event will be flighted so all playing abilities are welcome to compete. There will be food provided each day as well.
