The Advisory Board of the Catholic Children’s Home pleased to announce the 2nd Annual 5k Run / Walk & 1st Annual Community Family Bazaar, benefiting the Catholic Children’s Home in Alton, IL. Proceeds of the event will be used to support critically needed youth programs and services. The events will begin at 8 am on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 at Russell Commons Park for the 2nd Annual 5k Run / Walk. Following the 5k Run / Walk will be the 1st Annual Family Bazaar from 10 am to 2:00 pm on the front lawn of the Catholic Children’s Home at 1400 State Street, Alton, IL. This event will include yard sale / flea market tables, food concessions, Kids’ Corner, Cookie War, Furniture Re-purposing Contest and collection of donations for the Shoeman Water Project.
