Join us on April 13th for our Trash Bash event at the Audubon Center at Riverlands! This is the second event during our Month of Service! During this event, you will help clean up our rivers by collecting trash along the Mississippi River. All equipment will be provided, but dress to work outside! The event will run from 8 AM - 10 AM and will be followed by our Native Plant Festival at Audubon.
This event is free, but does require registration through the OpenSpaceCouncil Trash Bash website, which can be found below.
The event will happen on Ellis Island, which is part of the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary. To get to Ellis Island, exit Highway 367 North and turn left on the road across from the gas station. The Ellis Island parking lot will be on your right, right before you go under the bridge. Feel free to check in at the Audubon Center and then proceed to Ellis.
