The Highland Woman's Club is batting a thousand after receiving a generous donation for their first Trivia Night fundraiser. Jake Odorizzi, Highland's celebrated MLB player, has donated a signed Tampa Bay Rays jersey to the organization which hopes to support Meals on Wheels, the school district's Angel Fund, and create a vocational scholarship. Along with the trivia night, hosted by Bill Sullivan, the club will sponsor a silent auction, games, and a 50/50 raffle. The March 16 event, to be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, will begin at 7 pm, with doors open at 6:00. Cost is $160 for an 8-person table. Cash or check only please!
