Resurrection Lutheran Church in Godfrey will be hosting a drive on August 11th, from 9-12 at 1211 W. Homer Adams Parkway to benefit Crisis Food Center.
They are in need of various food items and personal items, and it's that time of year for school supplies.
With that in mind, here are suggestions from them for items they need and distribute regularly:
Any canned meat
Jiffy mixes
Pasta or pasta sauce
Soups
Small bottles of liquid shortening
Peanut butter or jelly
Fruits and vegetables
Small packages of diapers or Baby wipes
Small boxes or bottles of laundry detergent
Toilet paper
Toothbrushes and toothpaste
School supplies: folders, pencils, pens, crayons, small school scissors, rulers, backpacks, spiral notebooks, etc.
