About this event
Help remove trash and debris along the Great River Road (10 miles from Piasa Harbor to Grafton) and Piasa Island (by boat) from 9 a.m. to noon. Wear layers, gloves and shoes that can get muddy. T-shirts, water and trash bags provided.
Free lunch served at noon at Piasa Harbor Pavilion. R.S.V.P. by May 29 to ensure enough food. Arrange for vegetarian meal in advance. Leave a message with the number in your party and preferred starting location at 618-462-6802 or christine.favilla@sierraclub.org. Clean-up followed by presentation on watersheds and water quality by National Great Rivers Research and Education Center.
