The 17th Annual Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment sponsored by the Abe Lincoln Project/Looking for Lincoln for Lincoln in Pike County. Union and Confederate artillery, cavalry, infantry, naval and civilian camps; full battle reenactments; period baseball, crafts, vendors, blacksmith, music and food. Back by popular will be the H.L. Hunley Traveling Exhibit from Charleston, SC. The H.L. Hunley was the first submarine to attack and sink a vessel from beneath the surface of the ocean. This exhibit features an exact life-size iron replica. New to this event is the premier of "Abraham Lincoln:The Great Communicator" performed by noted Lincoln presenter George Buss and Illinois folk singer/musician Chris Vallillo. Lincoln Days Civil War Reenactment is an Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area Signature Event. There is no admission.
