YWCA of Alton is hosting a Race Against Racism on Saturday, May 19, at the intersection of 4th Street and Alton Ave in Alton. The Race Against Racism will include a 5K run and a 2 mile walk for adults and a 1 or 2 miles run for kids under 12 years. Adult fee is $30. Kids fee is $15. Top 5 in the 5K and top 3 in the 2 mile walk will receive medals. Ribbons for the top 3 kids in each race. Tee shirts will be provided to all race registrants.
Registration starts at 8 a.m. All races begin at 9 a.m. sharp.
