1919 - Women's Suffrage

This is a past event that has already occured.
@ Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries | St. Louis, MO

About this event

One hundred years ago the U.S. Congress voted to approve the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote. We mark this long overdue congressional action with a concert that celebrates women in classical music – composers such as Fanny Mendelssohn, Clara Schumann and Amy Beach, and featuring St. Louis Symphony Assistant Concertmaster Erin Schreiber.
