Pianist Peter Henderson and the Ilex Trio, with violinist Kristin Ahlstrom and cellist Anne Fagerburg, commemorate the wonder and significance of the moon landing 50 years ago with lunar-themed pieces such as Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Debussy’s Suite Bergamasque with its Clair de lune movement, and a new composition by Peter Henderson written for this concert entitled Sun Valley: Sunset, Moonrise, and Milky Way.
