Inspired by "Mona Hatoum: Terra Infirma," members of The Texas Room—a music recording resource organized by Louis Wall—will create a sound installation of stories and letters, written and recorded by immigrants and refugees in their native languages. During the exhibition, the installation will be accessible in the Pulitzer galleries. The collaboration will culminate on Friday, August 10, with an event featuring live readings and musical performances by Texas Room artists, including rapper Lemke? Francis from Cameroon via France; musician Adria Gutierrez from Mexico; and accordion player Mensur Hatic from Bosnia. To learn more, visit pulitzerarts.org.
