Better late than never. In our opinion Katherine Dunham's story (the Matriarch of Black dance) has not yet been sufficiently appreciated. The features and highlights that have come together at SIUE and AMHA get very close. This show will illuminate her pioneering work on a global scale, her life in mid century East STL., and her teaching at both Alton & SIUE campus'.
