Kids Day is an annual community outreach event held at Cahokia Mounds. This special event offers hands-on activities, crafts, games, and storytelling for kids of all ages. Activites include; spear throwing with atlatl, face painting, flintknapping, chunkey game, pelt identification, pottery making, and corn darts. TapSnap will offer free souvenir photos in the lobby and The Cheese Shack food truck will be here with many great food options. This is a free event and a great way for kids and adults to learn about the ancient Mississippian culture and the benefits of cultural preservation.
