Meet Mark Carroll. Mark is a 58 year old lifetime Granite City native who will tell you, and then do his best to assure you that up until four years ago, he's never put paint to brush or brush to canvas. And yet this talented man has created vibrant pieces of art that we here at Kool Beanz Cafe are beaming with pride to be the first to showcase. Mark suffers from Parkinson's disease but refuses to let it bring him down or allow it to define him. He's also proud and happy to say that his gift for creating what can only be described as fine art is one he received from God.
