About this event
Instructor- Shannon Dunham
Instructor Shannon Dunham will be hosting this unique workshop for $20. There will only be 15 students allowed, so please sign up early! This workshop is a slower paced class focusing on holding and deeply releasing into asanas. "In the yin practice, we relax the muscles; we aim our intention into the joints and the deep tissues wrapping them, not the more superficial tissues of the muscles or skin" (www.yinyoga.com).
Yin Yoga poses are held for minutes at a time, with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints, loosening tendons and improving flexibility. Yin Yoga poses are also designed to improve the flow of qi, the subtle energy said in Chinese medicine to run through the meridian pathways of the body. Join us for a renewing experience!
(This workshop is designed for students that have previous yoga experience of some kind)
