Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga where poses are held for minutes at a time. Specific asanas apply an intense stretch to the connective tissues of the body—the tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. A more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of inner stillness to combat our more face paced, yang lifestyles. A chance to learn from our shadows as we end the darker months. Some experience recommended.
