INSTRUCTIONAL SESSIONS The O’Fallon Panther Baseball Staff and Players will offer youth players an opportunity to receive quality instruction in the fundamentals of baseball. The 2 day camp will feature intense concentration on fundamentals, the cornerstone in the development of any player. Hustle, hard work, the desire to improve and the development of a positive attitude about the game will be ingrained by our quality staff and players. There will be a special emphasis placed on hitting and defense. Teaching stations will include programs designed to improve bunting, base running, throwing, and defensive techniques common to all positions. Drills that are used in the panther baseball program will be the focus of the instruction. These drills are designed for players to use throughout their baseball career.
FACILITIES The instructional sessions will be held at O’Fallon Township High School SMILEY CAMPUS. All indoor athletic facilities will be utilized during this camp to complete both the defensive and offensive sessions.
THE COACHING STAFF The instruction is led by the O’Fallon Panther Baseball coaching staff. In addition, the staff will feature current Panther Baseball players, panther baseball alumni, as well as special guests from metro east baseball.
Led for the past 15 seasons by Head Coach Jason Portz, the O’Fallon Township High School baseball team annually ranks among the elite baseball programs in the state of Illinois and the Midwest accumulating 434 victories (28+ per season) over that period. To date O’Fallon Panther Baseball has the highest win total of any team in the history of the state of Illinois with nearly 1400 career victories. The Panthers have won twenty eight conference titles, sixteen IHSA Regional championships, seven IHSA Sectional Championships, three IHSA Elite Eight Appearances, two IHSA Final Fours and two IHSA 3rd Place Finishes. Seven Panthers have earned All–American honors, thirty six All-State honorees and fifteen former Panthers are currently playing collegiate or professional baseball.

Equipment Campers should wear athletic wear, including athletic shorts or sweatpants, t-shirt or sweatshirt, hat and tennis shoes suitable for indoor athletic surfaces. Campers should also bring their own, glove, bat, helmet and a small water jug. ? Check-In Registration will take place in the front foyer of The O’Fallon Township High School Panther Dome starting at 12:30 the first day of the clinic. ? Cost: $60.00 includes a camp T-shirt and lunch the final day. The cost for one day is $40.00. Please make note on your registration which day you plan to attend and we will make the adjustment on the master registration form.
