About this event

Kit Brooks, co-curator of "Living Proof," will moderate a discussion among scholars and artists about works in the exhibition, focusing on historical contexts, artistic practices, and global influences, ranging from European Impressionism to contemporary art. Speakers will include Jed Henry, contemporary ukiyo-e designer; Willa Z. Silverman, Malvin E. and Lea P. Bank Professor of French and Jewish Studies and Head, Department of French and Francophone Studies at Penn State University; and Yukio Lippit, Professor of History of Art and Architecture, Harvard University, and Johnson-Kulukundis Family Director of the Arts, Radcliffe Institute.
