A traditional form of Afro-Brazilian dance and self-defense, Capoeira Angola incorporates elements of dance, martial arts, ritual movements, and music. Learn this movement technique through workshops designed for both beginners and those with prior experience, featuring instruction by Stefan Bonitz and Christopher Chablé of Centro Esportivo de Capoeira Angola Academia de João Pequeno de Pastinha under Mestre Pé de Chumbo.
The workshops are free to attend, but registration is encouraged. To sign up, visit pulitzerarts.org.
