Brandon Bandy will give a lecture on his current exhibition, 'no one loves the cowgirl'. He will discuss the continuation of bubblegum pop as an aesthetic and musical genre, as well as his focus on risograph printing and self publishing.
No one loves the cowgirl discusses contemporary symbols of American gaiety, and how these symbols have been derived from a nostalgic interpretation of mid-century culture and used to curate our own digitally manifested fantasies.
This will also be the last day to view Exhibition #13.
