Parishioner William (Bill) Burns died December 27 at his home. A Requiem Eucharist in his memory will be held Saturday, January 6, 11 am, at Saint Andrew's. A luncheon will follow the service in Pearson Hall.
Bill was a retired attorney and manager for Chicago Title Insurance Company in Edwardsville. He was born April 6, 1935, in Akron, Ohio the son of the late James E. and Hilda H. (Benker) Burns. Bill married Miriam Poley on January 23, 1981, at St. Andrew's.
In addition to his wife Miriam, he is survived by two sons, William E. Burns, Jr. (wife Evelyn), and Thomas Edward Burns (wife Jeni); one daughter, Tonya Kopeck (husband Steven); and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
