About this event

Experience the wonder of our annual Masters of the Sky Program! The National Great Rivers Museum will be hosting six opportunities to meet the amazing birds that call TreeHouse Wildlife Rehabilitation Center home. These one-hour long spectacles feature owls, a vulture, a falcon, a hawk, and of course a bald eagle! Discover the challenges and obstacles these majestic creatures face and the incredible effort that goes into caring for injured animals. While these rehabilitated birds may no longer soar, they provide an unforgettable opportunity to educate us about their role in the Mississippi ecosystem and what we can all do to help! Shows are at 11:00, 1:00 and 3:00, February 17th and 18th.

The museum will be full of crafts and activites for kids, opportunities for photos with "Eric the Eagle," and more. Visitors can also participate in free tours of the Melvin Price Locks and Dam for a chance to see wild eagles from a bird's eye view.

Museum admission is free of charge, however, tickets to the live bird shows are $5 for adults, $3 for children, and free for children 3 and under who can sit on a guardians's lap. Shows will take place outside, in a heated tent so seating is limited to 200 per show. Call or stop by the museum to purchase your tickets starting January 1st, 2018!
