This "festive season" may be less festive or even difficult for some people. Depression, work or family stresses, loss of a loved one may make this time of year particularly hard. The Blue Christmas service is an opportunity to acknowledge our sadness and gather together to give and receive comfort. This is a service of prayer, reflection and light held on the longest night of the year. This day marks the beginning of the lengthening of days, and is symbolic of the light of Christ brightening our darkness. All are welcome. If the Christmas season is difficult for you we strongly recommend you plan to attend.
