Mark Wightman is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has spent many years pursuing a career as a Graphic Designer in St. Louis. He is fluent in both traditional painting techniques and digital art, focusing primarily on portraiture and the human form. The work displayed at Sacred Grounds combines his fine arts aesthetics with a knowledge of contemporary culture inviting the viewer to reinterpret the substance of popular culture and science fiction.
