About this event
Dow Southern Baptist Church has been blessed beyond belief.
Thanks to its generous members with a heart for others we have agreed to donate $5,000 out of our budget and have collected an additional $2,000 to help those affected by hurricanes. The funds will be donated to Illinois Baptist Disaster Relief which guarantees that 100% of the proceeds will go directly to help those in need.
We are not done!!!!
This church has decided that its annual Christmas Blessings Tree donations will go to help those in need in the Houston area. Kevin and Marie Mangrum have volunteered to drive down and deliver the donations to a church in the Houston area where the items can be distributed. They are hoping to deliver them on December 9, so we need your donations in before then.
Items that we are looking for include:
New toys
Cleaning supplies
Household items
Food
Monetary donations
