The Macoupin Art Collective is helping the City of Staunton host the 8th Annual Staunton Art Fair at Duda Garden.
Saturday is the second day of the fair and will be a family-friendly art day.
Almost all of our showing artists will be demonstrating their techniques – a potter using a kick wheel, an artist making custom silver spoon rings, a stained glass artist making a glass mosaic (that said she’d love help with), an oil painter, and much more.
The Staunton Jr. and High School Girl Scouts will be facilitating kids' art activities – Tiny Fall Walking Puppets, Monster Origami Bookmarks, and Straw Rockets.
The afternoon will also have a community member volunteering to make painted ceramic pendants, and some small weaving projects.
Plus live music from Jake's Leg (1pm to 3pm), and The Goose Miller Band (3:30pm to 6pm).
There will also be snacks from Staunton Dairy Queen, Staunton Shriners, and Birdsell Concessions.
